Doris Orsan studied Violin at the Mozarteum, Salzburg and as a DAAD scholarship holder at the Juilliard School of Music in New York . She completed her concert and master class diploma with distinction .

She received the Appreciation award for culture of the Austrian state .

Doris Orsan lives as a freelance musician in Munich, gives Concerts as a soloist and chamber music partner . Concert tours have taken her to numerous German cities (including Hamburg / Musikhalle, Schloss Elmau / Festival, Iserlohn / Festival, Munich / Gasteig, Look into the Future / Burghausen) and to other European countries (including Festival Clássico en Verano / Madrid, Festival Musique de Chambre / Beausoleil, Casinotheater / Winterthur, Chamber music festival / Bratislava, Marble Hall Schloss Mirabell / Salzburg, Festival Antwerp).
